I was able to find the words that had red lines under them and I went and corrected my spelling mistakes. I was also to use capital letters in my Precious McKenzie ebook like name of a country a name or beginning on the senses. Next time I will try and use punctuation.

Wonder Poem

In Room 19 we are reading Wonder.

We made a Wonder Acrostic Poem and we also had to use new words that we haven't used in our writing the highlights are the word that I have never used in my writing.

The poem is about Wonder and we had to write sentences that relates to Wonder.

Next time I will try and use more year 6 words to make my writing more interesting.

Usain Bolt

Walt: Locate and evaluate information about Usain Bolt, on the internet.

Today the class had to find information about Usain Bolt.

I found this easy because I had a buddy with me and because we did a lot of research about Usain Bolt and it was really interesting learning about him.
Next time I would like to get more information about him.
I really hope you could do this again because it was really interesting.    

Quotation Marks

I was able to to find the correct sentences because I look really carefully to find the right places for the Quotation Marks. 

I found this hard because I am still learning how to use Quotation Marks .

Next time I will keep on practicing my Quotation Marks.

I was able to change some of my sentence because some of them didn't make sense. 

Next time I will need to read carefully and fix up my mistake.

45 Letter Sounds

Walt : use different spelling patterns and strategies to increase my word knowledge.

There are 45 letters sounds in the English language.  Sometimes these sounds are made by one letter and sometimes they are a made by a group of letters together.  Learning these letter sounds will help me spell unknown tricky words and increase my word knowledge.

Walt : use advanced punctuation

We have learning how to use bullet points correctly in my 10 Things About Me slideshow.  I learnt you need to :

• Place the bullet point in the margin.
• Use a capital letter after the bullet point.
• If you have written a sentence, end it with a punctuation eg. fullstop.
• Bullet points are used to create lists.
• Find the bullet points icon on the right hand side at top of the tool bar called bullet lists.
• 
  

Next time I will try and use bullet points in more of writing.

I found this tricky because I never learn Metaphors throw the year but today was the day I did Metaphor and because you needed to find photo that matches the sentence. We showed the class our metaphors and our work Miss H was scoring us and I got the highest points so I had to show the school my metaphors and say that you should use these language futures.

This was easy because you needed to write down what we did on that day on the doc and then we start to do some thinking because we couldn't remember a lot and then we just kept writing. 

Then we post it on our blog.

Spelling work

 
I find this easy because I know my spelling very good. So what we do put the ies by not putting y in it so I love to spell and I can property. Thank you so much. My next step is to spell harder words.

Term 4 Week 5

Hi I am Shaniqua and have you had a amazing weekend. Well same as me I had a sleep over at my friends house named Caitlin,just for one day she haves three cats and three kitten's, oh and on Saturday it was so hot I was going to DIE so Caitlin's,sister Maddie needed to take us to the pools but she, was so lazy to take us so we didn't get to go. No where so this is what we did we sat down with the laptop and siting in the hot hot sun and can I just say we were ,playing games like Movie star plant the game that we all love and we took turns I got half an hour Caitlin gets an half an hour and Caitlin's bother has an hour we all play Movie star plant because, it is so fun and cool it can be for girls and boys but their are more girl in Movie star plant  Next we play a game named bunny ice-cream its where you make a yummy ice-cream and the bunny needs to juguy if it is yummy and pain you sick, so me and Caitlin were trying to make is sick but it keeps on saying was nice I can eat this all day long we got so angry, we chaged the game hahahahahahahahahaha. Then it was night  time was so so so late we all stayed up in tell the morning we stayed up in till 3;35 in the morning but the mum came then faked sleeped and we watched some movies and we had popcorn. Well me and Maddie were the that stayed in till 6;39 hahaha that was so funny well that ends me to my little crazy story

Term 4, Week 2

On Friday we were on the field you know what we were doing athletics there was terms like your age so there was 8,9,10,11 and think there was a 11's I was kind of going crazy let me tell you this on the runny race for the first time I came 1,2 and 3. So in long jump I was kind of bad but I got some good news I came 4th all the time  

Term 4 Week 4

Hi if you are reading this it is about my sleep over and mini golf this is my weekend. So I went to Caitlin's house for our sleep over me and my friend Caitlin stayed up in till 3;00 in the morning I stayed over for two days we were meant to go Halloween but we wanted to go mini golf so we need, to come up with a plan we wanted to go Halloween and mini golf so it was so hard to choose.   SO we went with mini golf so we had a movie night we had some Popcorn,lollies, Chocolate, cake and coke the movie we were watching was the princess and the frog, I watched half of the movie I went for a walk and I was watching a other movie then I saw the kittens I was playing with them for an hour. Then we went to sleep I couldn't ,sleep so I went to sleep but I hear Caitlin talking to the wall.

On Sunday

I wanted to go church but no one didn't want to go. we were going to go but we needed to clean the it was a mess in there we didn't get to go if we clean the room but we clean room so we went,to mini golf we didn't get to do all of it we did 1-18 and I'm like way is my ball then we finshded.

I have Been learning about Explanation Writing. I now Know that Explanation Writing tells about how something work. I found the quiz tricky because I did't know the the answer to it I NEVER hear those quiz. My Next step is to writing my own explanation.
