Perimeter maths


Walt : identify and use the perimeter rule to calculate the size of Auggie’s classroom

I was able to  understand my decimals if I am converting to metres. I found this a little hard because I couldn't understand at first but then I started to figure out and I got better at understanding. After I finished I tried to solve my problem, it took me a while to find the answer. But I re checked it and I got it right I was so proud of myself. Next time I'll try use more decimals.

Speech 2017


Walt : deliberately choose words to create an effect on the audience

I was able to use persuade and emotive words.
I found this hard because this took me a few days because I keep on running out of ideas.
Next time I think I should add more emotive words.



Decimals, Percentages & Measurement Term 3 2017



Walt : use a variety of strategies to solve addition problems that involve decimal numbers.

I was able to add the hundredths first eg. right to left - hundredths, tenths, ones, tens and so on.
I found this easy because we have been learning this everyday and I'm been getting better and better at it.
I found some thing hard like add the whole number and decimal number together and convert decimal numbers to fractions.
Next time I need more work on adding the whole number and decimal number together and convert decimal numbers to fractions.

Multiplication Maths



I was able to double and half my equation to my answer.
I found this Challenging because I don't know how to do my PVP and I don't know where to put my brackets.

ill remember to brackets for strategies.

Scrabble Info Stat

Walt : display data on histogram, tally chart
Walt : interpret information from histograms and tally marks eg. medium, mode, range, mean


  • The range for the first score was 4 to 20.
  • The range for the last name is score it was 2 to 21
  • The range for full name score 9 to 31.
  • The mode for first names scores was 8 and that is the score that appeared the most.
I found this tricky because I didn't understand but I got help from my partner.
Next I would like to do a little better and I could understand more.

PVP maths




This is my maths and this is PVP I find this hard in the first place but in the other weeks I got better and better like what Mrs H said if you keep on doing your work you can get better.
Next time I want to learn harder PVP math so I get better good at something

I think this was between because it was easy because all you needed to do is put random shape in it but making sure how many there is so yeah. The hard part was counting and seeing if you can add thing because we needed to do our times tables it is very hard for me to do my time tables so thank you.

This is my word problem this is where you read it and we do the maths problem to figure it out. So all the green high lighter those are key words they help you with your drawing. This was easy because it was easy to fine the key words and write all of this down.

Skip count in 10's and 20's

                                             Hi this is my math. We are learning to skip count in 10's and 20's. I found this activity hard because I didn't know how to skip count that much well I can but it is hard. My next step is to learn how to skip count fast and I can know it right away.

Combining numbers to make ten

                                                                 Hi this is my math. From Spring math we have been learning to make a tidy tens. If you don't know what it is I and my work at the top can show you. You can see their are numbers well you need to make a ten like 5+4+5= where is the ten. Well let me show you its is 5+5 =10 so that is how you make a tidy ten. Can you see at the picher their are lines and clicles I had made a tidy ten because there is 24+5+6= that is the tidy ten but it is 24 and 6. I found this easy because I worked the problems out and sloved the questions. My next step with combining number to make tidy tens in 100s.
