Term 4 Highlights

This Term was great I loved it. We also made new friends which was good an marvelous teacher this year was great. We are now starting a new life. I am going to miss everything we did in room 19. All the fun we had together.   

Wonder

This is my Wonder portrait. I made a portrait that looks like me. We also got to pick our own precepts we think thats astonishing. This was really entertaining I really hope we could do something familiar.

Speech 2017

Walt:Write and present a speech using the APPA speech criteria

This is my speech I really enjoyed making it. The whole class had to share it and think about my eye contact and good volume, impact on the audience and relaxed stance and more.

Matariki Celebration - Phases of the Moon

My Refection:
I learnt that there are eight phases of the moon and I learnt what waning (it means getting smaller) and waxing meant (getting bigger).
I found this confusing because I am still learning how to figure which moon is which and I also found this amazing because I really liked learning about moons.
I hope we do this again because I really loved doing this.
Next time I will love to finish this on my first try and I would like to learn more about it.

Mini Investigation - Easter

WALT: Understand passing on messages is important.

Me and my group: Meilaniah, Sukie, Caitlin.
I liked doing this because we found a lot of amazing facts about Easter and we also found out where did the name of Easter came from. I found this really challenging because when I was researching and I didn't understand any of the words but I am hoping that we do this again.
Next time I think that I should work a little bit harder on my reading.

I was able to find the compare and contrast by using my knowledge of birthdays to write differences and similarities on a venn diagram.

Welcome Post 19

I am looking forward to camp, and I really really want to be a House Captain for this year. I am nervous and excited for this amazing new year!

This is my Pehpa it is about where you are who is your mum and dad and more about me this is my pehpa the class needed to copy it off the board so this is my pehpa. I find this hard because I asked nan if she can write my pehpa so I can copy it and put it on this slide show and this was fun it took me 2 days and a half.

Bike skill yr 4's

Hi this is me I was in bike skills and this is the pipcher that Mrs Graham took this. So the blue one is my liesine and the big one is my ciatfita. Most of the people was saying that I was a good bike rider same as the coach said I was good so this is how I got all of this. Well bye.

Fantastic Friday

For Fantastic Fridays I was in Bollywood Dancing. And we needed to get dressed and that like putting on shiny thing too. So we started to dance people were having fun in our group it was so funny.

This is my Kaitiaki art. This is a maori god he is the god of the winds.You can see the words me and Room 28/29 went ton cool text to get all the cool words. This god is very powerful he loves people and he is a happy god. The name of this god is Tawhirimatea

Term 1 Week 4

On Tuesday we went to do sport with Youth Town. The whole class ran up to the white cones and Megatron was talking to us about capture the flag. It was amazing game Dee was so nice that he saved me.

This is my dream house I made at Te Tuhi. I proud because I worked hard on my dream house. The tricky part was to cut out the shapes. I needed help with putting the shapes in order. The easy part was to go around the shapes.
